Sue Gerver

Sue Gerver is a stage actor who is a recent transplant from Des Moines, IA. She recently performed as The Prioress in "Edith Stein" at the Open Window Theatre Co. Sue has on camera credits in commercials and industrials, as well as independent features, shorts and student films. An example of her work can be seen in an 11-minute monologue posted on www.amongvoices.com (Voice #21). Prior to her move to Iowa, she was Executive Director of the Crow River Art Center in Hutchinson, MN from 1996-1998. In addition to performing programming for The Center, she wrote grants for the community theater and 4Shadow Theatre Company, and supervised grants for the community choir.

Sue graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, IA with a BA in Theatre Arts. She has classical, solo voice training from UW-Madison, Augusta College-Georgia & Simpson College. She also has voiceover training from Radio Garage in Des Moines, IA. Sue is currently a member of the Actor's Workout with Raye Birk at The Guthrie.
