Joking Envelope is a limited liability company founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Sara Stevenson Scrimshaw and Joseph Scrimshaw. No matter what the company is working on—-presenting live theater, producing independent film, securing rights for original plays or writing new work for museums, schools and corporations—we vow to take comedy seriously. Because there is no reason thinking and laughing should be mutually exclusive.
2009-2010 season:
The Damn Audition by Joseph Scrimshaw
Safe As Houses by Tom Poole
Fat Man Crying by Joseph Scrimshaw
