AUDITIONS FOR VAN WINKLE -A FOLK MUSICAL
A new musical by Caroline Wigmore, orchestrations by Jen Green
Presented by Mission Theatre Company
This is an acoustic folk musical and we are looking for appropriately skilled actor-musicians, for example (but not exclusively) guitar, harmonica, acoustic bass, violin/viola, flute, percussion.
Van Winkle is a folk musical is a retelling of Washington Irving's classic tale, Rip Van Winkle.
Auditions will be held at The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts

Freshwater Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for our spring show, "If You Don't Weaken", a world premiere dramedy by Jenna Zark, directed by Ariel Leaf.
Combining a pole dancer, crumbling synagogue, feisty friends, 1930s porn videos, a local Jewish day school, religious awakening…and a ghost, "If You Don’t Weaken" centers on a young woman’s quest to observe a year-long ritual of mourning for her grandfather.
"If You Don’t Weaken" will run March 28-April 11, 2015 at Nimbus Theatre.
*There will not be a performance on Easter Sunday.*

Guthrie seeks non-union boys & girls (8 to 13 yrs old—cannot be older than 13 on 23rd August 2015) for roles in THE MUSIC MAN. Big commitment 19th May through 23rd August 2015. Cast members will be required to sing & dance. Kids who play band instruments are especially encouraged to audition (no need to bring instruments to the initial audition on the 29th).
Audition for kids: Monday, 29th September. Girls sign in 5 – 5:30 pm. Boys sign in 7-7:30 pm.
Callbacks: If your child is needed for callbacks they will be held on Monday, 6th October in the evening.

We are currently casting extras for an independent feature film "Dragonfly." Co-Directed by Maribeth Romslo and Cara Greene Epstein, Produced by Mim Epstein.
All extra roles will be compensated with snacks/meals (when applicable), copy, and credit. There's a possibility for a small speaking role for some extras. These scenes will all be shot in one day September 23rd at a Northeast Minneapolis art gallery.
