Cross-gender auditions

We are very excited to announce auditions for our upcoming Fringe show “Choose Your Own Adventure!” directed by Jake Wellington and Katrina Zahradka! It is a choose your own adventure show that incorporates parody of common quest and hero tropes. The rehearsal process will have a strong focus on camp and collaboration. Our main goal is to have fun and come up with something entertaining to participate in/watch.

Theatre Terra Firma is taking on its second annual Shake in a Day Project and we need actors!

Last year's project was a huge success and so we decided to do it all over again! We know there are a lot of questions about what the heck it is. So here we go...

1) What the heck is Shake in a Day?

Basically what we're doing is an entire Shakespeare production in 24 HOURS! That means from selection of the play to design to rehearsals (and memorization!) to performance in one full day.

"Christopher Street: The Musical" is an original musical, written by local playwrights Martino and Seth Gabriel-Mayotte. Set in 1978 NYC, it tells the story of three young men who stumble from their small hometown into the NYC Gay Pride Festival. The people they meet change their lives forever in this heartwarming and meaningful show.

Seeking trained and talented broadway/jazz dancers for exciting and energetic dance revue in the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Looking to reinvent, reimagine, and revive broadway and jazz for the Fringe scene! Produced by Blue Umbrella Productions ("Flops," "Those Were the Days," “Dreamboys,” and "Jungle Mary Bang Bang") and choreographed by Windy Bowlsby.

Looking for 4-5 male dancers, and 4-5 female dancers - all ages, types, ethnicities considered. Strong dance skills are the only requirement.

Public Dreams Theatre seeks actors to fill a few final roles for their outdoor production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest."

Available Roles
Alonso - The King of Naples. Alonso fears that his son has drowned in the shipwreck and spends the play searching for him.
Sebastian - Alonso's brother. Sebastian is persuaded to kill his brother and take the throne.
Antonio - A villian. The younger brother of Prospero responsible for his banishment. Antonio tries to convince Sebastian to kill Alonso.

CTC is holding audiitons at the end of May for both DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS and for ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

We are looking for kids of all ethnicities 8-17 years old for both productions. GRINCH is a musical; ALICE is not a musical.
