It's like a holiday for giving! A day when Minnesotans everywhere want to make donations! To you! Have you made your Give MN page yet? If not, just do it. It's easy. And missing Give to the Max Day is like missing a party thrown in your honor!

Below are some reasons why, and some methods how, and a special invitation to join the Minnesota Theater Alliance and Bedlam Theatre for an opportunity to pitch your project live, online on Give to the Max day.

Why Give MN?

• They've raised more than $30 million for Minnesota nonprofits to date.
• It's so easy to use!
• Great tools for making you look your best.
• Tons of tips on how to promote your campaign.

Why Give to the Max Day?

• In 2009, Give to the Max Day became the most successful place-based online fundraising drive in history, raising more than $14 million for Minnesota charities in 24-hours.
• In 2010, over 42,000 donors gave on Give to the Max Day.
• This year, there are a bunch of prizes: $15,000, $10,000, $7,500, and $5,000 for nonprofits with the most donations. And hourly "Golden Tickets" - $1,000 for donors' favorite charities.
• Probably the least expensive way ever to find new donors in a frenzy to give!

How do I do it?

• Go sign up and make a fundraising page.
• Read up on Give to the Max Day 2011.
• If your organization's budget is less than $750,000, be sure to register in the small nonprofit category so that you aren't competing with the big guys for prizes.
• Check out the Nonprofit Toolkit for tons of tips on how to make a successful campaign.

A special invitation from the Minnesota Theater Alliance and Bedlam Theatre
Bedlam Theatre will be live streaming all day on Give to the Max Day. They're also putting their Development Associate in a cage. And throwing parties. And other fun things, including Lunch with the Alliance, where from 12:00 to 2:00, the Alliance invites you, live online, to pitch your performing arts related GiveMN cause. Make your pitch, do a show, sing a song, draw a picture, make a small cute animal do a small cute thing. Whatever you like. We'll introduce you, and Bedlam will broadcast you.
